                I just wanted to offer you happy greetings, and welcome you to Deviantart! I have been a member now for four years and have found it a great way to get my artwork out and recognized. Deviantart offers you a great way to organize your art into folders that can be easily added to, or should you decide you no longer want a particular piece on your page you can remove it.

                I am a photographer, a learning oil painter, and a hobbyist. Although Deviantart offers me the ability display my work in all of these areas, I am only focusing on my photography for now. I have a strong interest in anything nature related, especially birds and macro work with insects and still life. I also do a lot of time exposures of the stars, meteors, and the International Space Station. I find it interesting to see how moving lights appear on a photograph.

                If you have any question you will find that most of the artist here at Deviantart are more than willing to offer tricks of the trade, or to help with changes you may want make on your page. Another great option is to join a group of artist that has similar interest. This makes it easy to make friends and share your work. Do not be afraid to ask, I am willing to help as well.

                I do not work for Deviantart, but I may still be able to assist you, or point you in the right direction. When I started I spent a lot of time reading the FAQ pages, so I can understand how it feel coming in to a new group.
